Born on the same day, August 23, 1995, the duo channels influences from Michelle Branch to Portishead, Fountains of Wayne to Enigma, crafting music that feels both nostalgic and new. Their sound has been praised by Rolling Stone, which wrote, “After… feels like a memory you can’t quite place.” Their debut album, Fell Asleep in the Sun, pressed on a CD with a 2000s inspired design, pairs the band's nostalgic sound with premium packaging worthy of any collection.
