Limited white colored vinyl LP pressing, housed in a gatefold sleeve. Centered around John Butler's virtuoso guitar stylings and powerful, progressive lyricism, HOME draws upon a remarkable variety of musical genres, spanning folk, blues, funk, classic rock 'n' roll, and beyond. While continuing to create as a trio, this album was largely recorded and produced in a more solo format with longtime friend and producer Jan Skubiszewski and reflects the deeply personal nature of the album. The John Butler Trio is guitarist/vocalist John Butler, bassist Byron Luiters, and percussionist Grant Gerathy. HOME is a message of redemption, a reflection of the inner and outer worlds Butler was experiencing and observing during this chapter of his life.
