Pitney Meyer taps into the sound and spirit of Appalachia on the duo’s introductory album, Cherokee Pioneer. Friends and multi-instrumentalists Mo Pitney and John Meyer display their front porch sensibilities with banjo, mandolin and rich harmonies decorating 11 originals that explore the folklore of their ancestors.
