Manzanita is the new solo album from La Luz singer/guitarist, Shana Cleveland, and is the follow up to the 2019 release, Night of the Worm Moon. The new album was written around the time of the birth of her son. It is about moving to the country, starting a family and surviving her 2022 diagnosis with breast cancer. Manzanita is filled with inspiration from the insect world, ghosts and evils spirits.
