Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing of this classic album from the influential band who single-handidly pioneered Americana, roots rock, country rock and heartland rock. Released in 1975, and the first studio album of Band originals in four years, Northern Lights - Southern Cross was viewed as a comeback. It also can be seen as a swan song. The album was The Band's finest since their self-titled sophomore effort. Totaling eight songs in all, on this album The Band explored new timbres, utilizing for the first time 24 tracks and what was (then) new synthesizer technology.  Includes ‘Forbidden Fruit’, ‘It Makes No Difference’, ‘Rags And Bones’ and more.
